51 and 52 has a stainless pc on the hood and a copper pc on the fender that rubs to gether. I had the same prob. w/my 49 and found those pices at a junk yard and no more paint chipping. :hurray:...
Hi. Good idea ! Oil for motorcycle shocks:thumbsup: do you know what weigth ? and do you have any tips on changing seals ?
Does anybody know what oil to use in the shocks. I have been using Hyd. Jack oil and now after 4 years they start to leak ! Is it to thin , or is it detergent eating the seals ? :coo:
The brakes on the Roadmaster is bigger, but I think a change of backing plates will do it, if you did no find a Super rearend.
OOPPPS Forgot to tell that both are automatic, and the 49 standard have a 3.40 something ratio .
