thanks to Russia overproducing !
2.19 super
1.75 for 87 octane
the motor needs a full rebuild..
but the car is still very restorable....the lack of rust and the color
combination would make for a nice cruiser. Well optioned car too
Well, the good news is someone can buy it once it comes up
for sale in a week or so... :)
Hi folks
I like to pop in from time to time with some cars I come across
in my car searches.
I came across a 60 Buick Lasabre 4dr hardtop thats been sitting here
in the Az climate for over 30...
I love buying, restoring and selling cars...and picked this up
the other day and cant believe I found it and cant wait to get it
back on the road..
Heres a pic of the body tag for anyone who likes...
here are a few more pics..
hopefully Ill have it running and driving in a few days..
its been parked for over 25 yrs...but luckily the Az desert
has been kind to the metal and rust is pretty...
I pop in from time to time when I get another classic Buick...
and yesterday I brought home a 58 Riviera / Special..
original 2 tone paint and lots of patina...
2dr HT too...love the chrome on...
posted of the interior..
did you see the vents on both sides and center ?
here is another pic
I think Ive already been to that site... think thats where I found the registry.
thanks
Im here off and on, but just wanted to post some pics of a pretty rare Buick
I picked up over the weekend.
1982 Grand National - turbo car (1 of about 35 ) known to exist of have been made.
...
its a nice rust free Az car , and a local car for the most part..
factory 300 V8, Im pretty sure anyways..
yeah, its a 4dr but its a great cruiser. The first night I got it I was
driving around...
Hi guys
Just picked up a clean 65 Special 4 dr...
it appears to have the factory 300 V8 , and was originally a 2v carb.
Some hack installed a 4v with an adaptor plate prior to me getting it
and...
found this 65 Electra Custom Convertible
PS, PW AC car, pretty well loaded when it was bought back in the day..
original Black on black car..
Poor cars been sitting here in the Az sun and desert...
thanks for the info
Im going to have to clean my motor up a little more
to find the other identity info...
Is my motor suppose to be the blue color or red ?
still need to find out which air...
My 66 skylark either has a 340 or 300 2v motor...
where do I find the MX or MA codes you are referring to ?
Also where are the cyl head #s ?
I found this # on dr side ft of the motor.
I was tol my 66 Skylark has a 340 2v motor in it
Is that the cid or another rating ?
Does anyone have a pic of the correct style air cleaner
decal that should be on it ?
thanks
and the 44 may mean it has the 340 motor w/ 2v carb
because I know the motor is original and a 340...
Well, cant wait to start working on it ..
keep in touch guys, thanks again
Can anyone help me decode my cowl tag on my
66 Skylark..?
thanks in advance :)
