Also Try Stan Thompson Auto Upholstery on Caledonia for repair of top. He replaced one on a Mustang for me and repaired the driver seat, looked great and was a reasonable price.
Yes I'm on the penninsula near Sidney. It might be worthwhile to take a look at my car. It's actually a 67 but appears very similar.

Not moisture. Speedo cable at transmission. The seal quits allowing transmission fluid to climb the cable eventually working to the head.
Try disconnecting at the tranny , pull the cable core out of...
Have you tried drying out the speedo cable. and the head as well?
Sounds like a bad ground at the radio, or a shot noise suppressor

My 77 Century is currently and for the foreseeable future the largest and most comfortable fo my vehicles, hence the Land Yacht. My Tercel and Aerio are called the lifeboats.

Anybody know where I can get the proper pins for the steering column harness socket for my 77 century. I just put a tilt column in and at least one connector is bad on the replacement column.
