That's what I used to paint the frame under my '69. It is a quality paint that covers well and I am happy with how it came out.:bana:

I am not sure if this will help, but it can't hurt. It looks to me that there are only 4 nuts that have to be removed from under the hood. They fasten to studs that are attached to the heater box...

I agree that angle looks a little funny. Have you tried turning it over? Is there any interference with any other suspension parts?

OOps, that is the torque for the flexplate to crank. At least I got the bolts right.

They are a 3/8 with a 16 thread. Torque is 58 lbs. according to ta performance.
