Those hubcaps were probably sold new by Western Auto or some other parts store .
They had hubcaps for all brands of cars. But the logos, emblems , names were fudged purposely to avoid trademark...
I'm sure that's right
I like the 56 wagons for the full round wheel opening on the rear fender.
And 56 Special got the 322 V8 instead of the 264 V8 the 55 and 54 had.
I would go with the original blue. You can't go...
Raceway US 31 Pelham Alabama
Reg $1.72

Good Luck on the build.
What Engine will you use?
Thanks for posting that.
Most interesting.
A local museum, Birmingham's Southern Museum of Flight has an A-12 on display,
Dual quads look very cool.
I think a dual quad on a nailhead is overkill on a nailhead.
The restriction on the nailhead's breathing isn't helped by a dual quad. Just my opinion ...
Dad had a '36 Special Coupe,
It was a great car. Very fun to drive.
Very Nice!!:D
$2,000 sounds like a good deal. Did you Buy it?
I've seen them on E-Bay
Tom,
