I think I understand about the steering box etc. in relation
to wheels pointing straight/alignment but what does this have to do with
flipping the steering wheel...

old family car (1971 Skylark) steering wheel is mounted upside down.
(the "V" is pointed DOWN). Can the steering wheel just be pulled and reversed OR does one have to do...

Got it started, new alternator, battery fine, alternator light no longer remains on, starts ok...but....intermittent deadness....I'm thinking perhaps ignition switch?

runs good now....except the alternator light stays on....alternator is charging

turns out it was the CABLE (+) which looked fine
from outward appearance but the insides were funky....
NOW my alternator light has a faint glow which won't go away.......
Thanks....now it runs...fixed itself after hours of tracing???....go figure....
