Did you ever get an answer?
Ah yes, I remember it well, it was the time of the "Korean Conflict"
and due to material shortages from the war, the parking lights were moved from the fender tops to the bumper guard insert.
Thank you Bob for taking the time to help out . Now all I need is one with the part number you found. I have heard that sometimes the number is reasonalby close to the casting number.
What does a Pitman Arm with casting number GM 267626 B10 fit? Hopefully a range of years and models including a 1947 Super.

I had a 41 Super for 10 years, and found a gadget that set on top of each carb when the air cleaner was removed. The gadget sold by JC Whitney was called a Syncro-Giz. It had a cylinder attached to...

Also are you sure it is the...
That small hole in the gas line may be the cause of the carb backfire. Try stopping the leak and try again to see if the backfire has stopped.
I thought I saw a movie with Hank Williams that showed a powder blue 47 or 48 Buick Convertible.
Do you have an AutoZone auto parts near you, or a name brand auto parts. Perhaps you could rent a timing light from them. Just basic tools needed. Generally you could find an old geezer in the back...

Here are a couple shots of my front seat with cushion removed. Just how do I raise the trim around the edges of the seat. Will removing the screws in each top corner and placing shims do the...
Not exactly what you asked for, but helpfull
Hope this helps
Guess it depends on whether you want a first year in production V8 (Super) or a last year of production with a tried and true straight eight that Buick made for over 20 years (Special).
Why not keep the 50 engine, and switch to the 53 twin turbine tranny for the special? Makes the 50 a real tire screamer.
These cars worked perfectly when new with 6 volts, why bother changing?
There sure is, the 1953 Special with DynaFlow, it makes the earlier cars tire screamers!
I haven't done it myself, but this is from reliable sources. Not sure if the 51 must be a Special or not.
Try the Buick Club web site
