Hey guys,
Send me your e-mail address to me grhamann(@) yahoo.com. It is easier to send them to you this way. I already sent some to one of you.
How much do your roller rocker arms weigh?
...
Yes, the rods will take it, but I modified mine to make them stronger. I ran 13.5 to one compression and turned 6,500 to 7,000 rpms also.
Ran best of 9.40's @ 147 at Indy in 95.
But in a 23 T...
Hey guys.
I was digging around in the garage the other day and found one of my spare rocker arms that has been modified for performance racing.
If anyone is interested in seeing how it looks, let...
I made it to Bonneville two years ago and enjoyed it! I do not know what the eights are worth now a days. Oh, the reason I am not out there racing is because I can no longer pass the NHRA competition...
I do have two 320 ci Roadmaster engines....one is a standard trans engine..the other is an automatic engine. Have not disassemble either one.
Bought from original owner that told me both were...
Ok, I am trying this again for you guys to look at. Hope it works and stays here. Let me know if you see them.
E-mail at grhamannat yahoo.com if you want me to send them to you.
If you look close at the pic. The support plate is right above the butterflys. You can see the shaft that connects all for butterflys together. Look right below that shaft and you will see the...

The head was machined off and new intake and exhaust ports were made to accomodate larger ports. The tubes are angled...
I have heard enough....the 263 will never out perform the 320. The 320 can easily be made into a 355 c.i. and your 263 will never produce the hp that the 320 will.
When you show me a 263 that...
No, they do not need to be the full width in order to work. We have used rod bearing from big block Chrysler engines in our 320 Bucik engine. We did have to remake the lock tabs so they fit the...
Looking for some side chrome for 53,54,55, or 56 Buick. Need the chrome for both sides. Anyone have any?
Thanks

Depends on where in the Mid-West you are. I know of a very good transmission guy in Fort Morgan, Colorado. If this is not too far for you. let me know and I will supply name and phone number.
Good...
I would modify the rods if you want a strong engine. The split rod and notched wrist pin is a weak spot for this engine. I have a modification that works very well on the stock rods. If you want the...
We built our own adapter and adapted a powerglide to our straight eight. It work great for drag racing. We used the later aluminum case powerglide. Besides adapting the transmission, we used the same...
Hi guys,
I was going through some boxes, since I moved and have discovered the camshaft grind spec sheets for the camshafts that we have used over the years. One is a Ishy spec and the other is a...
Hi guys,
I was going through some of my boxes....since I moved to a different place. Lo and behold, I found my camshaft grind spec sheets. One from Isky and one from Crane cams. These are pretty...
Willys...I recomend doing away with the notched wrist pin. It is the weakest point in the pistion/rod assembly on the straight eight. Once you up the compression, the pin has a tendency to break...
Since the Mazda rings will fit.....why not use the Mazda pistons as well?
Just wondering about it..it would be cheaper than paying for custom work.
Yes, I meant like a Japanese finger trap, sorry for the typos. I am not the best typers around. It is a long wire type that fits over the end of the seal, after you have put it up and over the top...
It has been a while...but, I seem to remember that to replace your switch. You need to insert the key and then there is a small hole on the side of your key insert a stiff steel rod and push in. This...
Does anyone know where I could get a good 49-50 or 51 Roadmaster engine. I have a front engine dragster that I would like to put one end.
Thanks

We have ran our 320 at 6,500 rpms drag racing for years, without danger!
Setup right, the straight eight will take it. Plus a couple of times I ran it to 7,500 rpms. Still held together. Great...
