Curious... Could you possibly buy headers for a Chevelle, cut the flanges off, and weld the Buick flanges on? Chevy headers are much cheaper. I relize you may have to do a little tweaking.....

Oh and you shouldn't need adjustables push rods unless your running solid lifters.
Yeah there are a few people who make them but Ive forgotten where exactly. You can also make your own if you modify your shafts and add studs. I personally like the shaft style rockers. I was curious...
I think iron heads are just as good as aluminum. I've done a little research and it seems as if the iron heads flow just as well as the edelbrock aluminum heads. The TA heads flow just a little...
Ok so I have a start on the parts, heres a listing. Im going to keep trying to find affordable buick parts, so Ill keep you up to date. But Stainless Steel Stage 1 valves for 159.99, even cheaper...
Those parts are easier to find than you think. You can use the pistons anf con rods from the 225. If you want a good price I can get one for you.

I just wanted to touch base with few folks and see what the interest for more reasonable priced Buick parts. I have been in contact with a manufacturing facility that is USA based and has produced...
Theres been a few changes yet agian with this build. I scored a set of 2" Kenne Bell headers, and the TA performance intake is out the window because of a deal that was impossible to pass up. I also...
I thought I would share with you guys an experience I had today that left me dumbfounded.
I had posted an ad on craigslist with a list of parts I needed for my 455 that I am currently working on....
I need one driver side rocker arm, the aluminum one. not hard to find but I dont need 16 of them.
Thanks, I am also shopping for an aluminum intake and a pointless distributor.
Thanks.
Thanks, Ive been looking everywhere for this.
Thanks for the tip on the exhast manifolds. I was looking at headers as an option and I have heard conflicting claims about the performance achivements. I am getting the heads ported and the stage 1...
Ok guys, Ive seen numerous 66 Skylarks with cowl induction hoods, and I want one. Its the same hood I've seen on a few cars so I dont think its fabricated. SOME ONE PUT THIS HOOD ON THE MAP! Im not...
:waving:
Its been a little while, I did decide on the TA 290-08. Best cam for me, but I'm leaning more to the side of the solid lifters now so a cam change may be in order. Anybody remember where...
Seems kinda like a waste of money. If you have intake, heads and exhast to match maybe. I did see some pretty neat Mopar intakes adapted to buicks though. I think running 8 webbers would be pretty...
Ok. You guys are starting to make me change my mind about the whole valve upgrade, and I was iffy on the whole rhoades lifter anyways.
How much will a machine shop usually charge for the machine...
and Bob, you throwing me off a little with the new page lay out! Its nice though...
Hey fellas,
Its been awhile. My computer took a little spill of my bed while visiting New London awhile back and I finally got if fixed up. In any case, Ive been collecting parts for my 455 and I...
Does anybody know if wheel molding from a 66-67 GTO will fit a 66 Skylark? I know the bodys are very simular....If so you can pick up a set of 4 wheel moldings for 150 bucks. That would save me time...
I actually just moved from Port St. Luice, Fl not to long ago. I lived there for 6 years and will be heading back at some point for good. I use to go surfing up by where you are at. Ive been all up...
I believe the Chevelle SS of that year had a sway bar, and it should bolt right up. I have also read something about swaybars out of the trans-am, but I belive it was for the 69+ buick skylarks. If...
