I have an original 64 Skylark Convert.....the stock firewall is low gloss black.

Have no issues with Petrnx....has been in my 64 Conv for a year.
Kept all the original parts so I can convert to original (if need be)
It installs easily...just make sure your within the clearances...

Yup sure did....TA suggested I advance the timing to 10 - 12 deg. I tried 10, 11 & 12.....runs the best at 10deg. I tole them I'd run a tank of gas and advise.

Hey Special...I think you got it...I just pulled my plugs after burning a tank of gas to go 162 miles!! No smoke at all at start up or reving or running up to 80mph & let off the throttle. NO smoke...
