Thanks for the input but my flexplate won't allow for that. The teeth and wheel are one piece.

Thanks for the input but my flexplate won't allow for that. The teeth and wheel are one piece.
I did that to the flex plate teeth but with a triangular file. It's much better but the flex plate is actually warped though (it has a slight wobble).
It's a 168 tooth flywheel. No Dynaflow, it's been converted with an adapter plate to use an automatic transmission. It's a 200r4 transmission.
Does anyone have experience with Bendsten adapters?
My flywheel is all chewed up due to starter alignment (another fun project to be tackled later but lets focus on flywheel)
So, I have a...
Well, I found a guy with a 53 Super 4 door but it's different.
It's articles like this one that shed light on why it's so difficult to find parts nowadays.

Unfortunatly for me, I'm missing the actual metal channel that screws to the body (See prior photos). Yes, Ron does know his interiors, but he's not a magician. Hence, I still am looking for the...
Still looking for the driver's side windlace channel for my 53 Buick Special 2 door. Can anyone recommend a contact, junkyard or shop that might have this?
Thanks for looking,
Also, this is a photo of my car.
It looks like this, but for the driver's side.
Does anyone have a 53 Buick parts car? I need the driver's side interior windlace pinch molding.
It looks like this (Excuse my PhotoShop skills)
Please contact me if you actually...

My 53 Buick was converted over to a 12 volt system by the previous owner; however, the fuse box was not. Although I have no electrical problems, the current one is 60 years old. Since the wiring...
Here's the plate. I chose the old Buick font.
I have a friend that offered to machine me one but I wanted to check if one was out there.
I have a 53 Buick Special with the Straight 8.
I want to eliminate my mechanical fuel pump and go electric. There are several block off plates on eBay but nothing specific to Straight 8's. So, the ones I've pictured bellow look right but I don't...
Head west to Pennsylvania. There's multiple chrome shops right off highway 78. Truck drivers love chrome.
This modified 53 Buick Special was at this years Dead Man's Curve car show in New Jersey. Take note of the exhaust headers, they run behind the front wheel.
Thanks, but just after I posted here, I sifted through eBay and picked one up for $20.
Looking for a used side cover/lifter cover for my Straight 8 263. If you or anyone knows someone please reply.
Thanks,
Mike
Good eye krinkov58. That lifter cover is really nice.
Here's the article.

I like the modifications here. He eliminated the downdraft exhaust tube with those two small chrome boxes. What are they? And where do...
