There's a lil oil filter cannister just passenger side of the water pump. if you run that L8 for 10 minutes, you should be able to feel that can being warm/hot. That'll tell you if you got oil flow....

The thing to remember about these rims, is that they are not stud & Lug, but rather bolt and guide pin. Without the guide pin holes you will no doubt have a rough time bolting the rim on.
