Don’t shoot me for moving off original.
Just trying to get some info for adding something like a Holley Sniper EFI to my 67 GS 400. I believe the car will run better and have better gas milage. ...
I use them on all my cars windows and some paint transfer on the bumpers (Only windows on the GS). Be sure that you use a good glass cleaner as the final step.

Ron, You mention glue in your response. Can you suggest a glue that would be safe? Thanks.
Thanks Ron. I will do as you stated to investigate this issue further. Glad I reached out to this forum.
I have a 20 year old vinyl convt top where a flap has separated from the underside of the top above the plastic window. I have tried 3m adhesive but no luck. This was the contact spray.

I have factory a/c in my car and don’t have experience with after market a/c units. Regarding Vintage air; a friend added one to his 67 Mustang with the r134 and had it installed over a long weekend....
I found my Star Wars Air Cleaner Base. It was hiding in plain site under my workbench.
As I was searching for a can of nuts to hold my seats in place, I saw my air cleaner base that I searched...
Bought the Noah from Cal Car Covers. Seems to be for a 68 GS like my Cal Car dust cover but it does fit. Will begin using in September so we’ll see how well it performs.
Thanks Bob.
All issues fixed including my over heating problem. No leaks and great oil pressure. It is so nice not to have pans on the garage floor to catch oil, transmission, power steering and anti-freeze...
My car is always garaged with a dust cover that works. I find that I will need to store my car outside for awhile and really need a recommendation on a 100% waterproof car cover. Once I finish with...
Satin black was the right choice.
I bought the satin black and ran a test. I like the satin black better than the matte or semi gloss. I thought the semi gloss and satin were going to have the same look but I was wrong.
Thanks Bob, I checked my test panels this morning and prefer the matte black. Semi gloss was way to shiny and I think the matte black will just look better.
Thanks.
Hi all, I am finally getting around to replacing my black seat covers with new black covers and foam from year one. This is a bigger job than I thought. It ain’t hard but taking out those hog rings...
Got a slider for a Jeep and is a #10 YKK slider. Now to try and get it on the zipper without breaking it.
Thanks Bob
Thanks Bob and Ted. I will keep searching and will check out the corvette forum. I am also going to search my yard and house again. Maybe it is in an unmarked storage bin. We did a fall purge last...
Ted, Are you asking me for pics of my star wars air cleaner? If not, then I am not following.
What is the alternative you refer to?
What I was wondering is does someone know of a specific base from some other source that will work.
Thanks for your reply.
I won’t go through all the gory details but I suspect my wife threw out the base to my star wars air cleaner. I can’t find it and she doesn’t remember and I can’t find it anywhere.
My question; ...
My car would start off fine and around 1500 rpms, the car would not slow down when I took my foot off of the accelerator pedal. The problem began when I put on a new quarajet carb and gasket. Seems...
The zipper slider on my convt rear plastic window broke in two. It seems to be metal and I have no clue how to find a replacement let alone install it.
The plastic window is in excellent...
Just a test.
Heat works when I apply continuous vacuum at the heater control valve. Now to pull the entire blower assembly so I may install a new vacuum module. :hurray:
