When giving any throttle past 1/4 the vacuum advance plate moves pulling on a small wire .. you can't see the broken wire cause the insulation is still in tact . Can be repaired but why bother.....

Most likely a dealer installed stripe/decal.. take it off .. Riviera's shouldn't have a Mopar looking pinstipe on them, lol...
