The 322 was improved each year. Also the Dynaflow transmission had improvements each year. '55 having an improved Turbine. And, '56 having the variable pitch available for the Low and Reverse as well...

I've got Bill Hirsch Buick Green, on mine now. It is not an exact match. Ford green is close, too. I've used Ford green, in the past

Dynaflow is definitely worth rebuilding. But, be sure the shop knows Dynaflow. Ask if they have rebuilt Dynaflows. If not, ask them for a recommendation

Not so much on my Buick. As far as lights go, I have had problems with the brake light switch. (and I learned that my car's brake lights only work when the ignition is on.)

A little bit of, mild dish detergent in; cold water. Use a sponge and/or, a soft bristle brush. Rinse, with; a cold, wet cloth. Dab dry (don't rub) with a clean dry cloth
