I was talking about the bottom eye on the upright,there is some sort of sleeve that threads into it,on one of my uprights the thread in the bottom eye? has worn to allow the threaded sleeve to rattle...

I have 7" dia bags that collapse to 2 1/2" and I'm not sure if that's enough to fit between the bottom A arm and the frame,that's why I asked about the opening of the spring pocket,i was going to use...

Not sure on the cfm but i know they use them on the 2.0 engines as a performance up grade so should be ok,ill work something out re the carb icing though i have only ever had the opposite..maybe...
