Sorry, it's West Chester, PA. Thanks for the heads-up Bill, I didn't realize my location was cut off. Cool day clock, BTW :)
Hi Bill! Recognized you from "V8", welcome. Lots of cool antique stuff here.
I like it, looks like a nice clean car. and a 455 sounds extremely fun. What is circled in red in that interior shot?
Is your car manual transmission? I can't tell on my phone if there's a clutch pedal or not. If so I'd be interested in the shifter, boot , and floor hump parts if you ever sell it.
That's what I did on my Special. 4 speed, lovin' it!
Fantastic! Welcome. We want pictures!
Cool car indeed, congrats! You might find yourself selling other projects and keeping this one, with all that fun you've hadwith it already!
Oh man gorgeous! Thanks for the pictures. Now I have to really get started on bodywork with this inspiration!
Cool! My 64 was coral mist with silver interior. I plan to restore it back to that. Are you in Pennsylvania?
So I repaired my front turn signals today. I used a Dorman 85803 socket assembly BUT re-used the original socket and just used the Dorman bakalite and wires and spring loaded contacts. I was warned...
Took the front bumper out and complètely disassembled the turn signal housings. One did have continuity from its terminals to each respective spring loaded contact. The other one had no contiuity...

Interesting how the parking lights make it work- I guess maybe it opens up the pathway to other grounds that are now "shared" via the parking lamps circuit.
An interesting experiment would be to...
OK just to clarify: you had the same result for both sides when you turned only the parking lights on (not full headlights) and tried the turn signals? I ask because I have a situation where the...
Try SMS Auto Fabrics, they quoted me on 64 special deluxe panels and you can request seat cover material samples from them for free.
WOW congratulations, great story and man I just viewed your car pics and what a beautiful, well preserved car! It's in good hands with you. And I love the old dealer nameplate on the left rear of...
I AMECSTATIC! My 1964 Buick Special Deluxe 2 door had the title with itwhen I bought it but there were multiple un-notarized ownership transferswritten on it. In fact, the guy I bought it from never...
Hi Mike rocker assemblies are on their way. I sent you an email and thought I sent a pm (does this site automatically delete sent pm's?)
Sounds good just pm me your address and I'll get em out next week.
Here are 2 pics of the one bank of rockers (the other bank is still bolted to the it'other head in a sealed box). Take a look and let me know if this looks OK. To me I didn't see any warning signs of...
Hi Mike, I have a set of 225 heads with the rockers and shafts left over from my old 64 Special parts car I used to have. A guy out in CA was going to buy the heads and then didn't need them. You...
Sorry to put this in the Welcome Forum, I tried the Buick News but there wasn't an option for me to post a new thread there. I just wanted to share feedback on member casadelwacko, he's a great...
Well, I actually have the official title, problem is that the last 2 changes of hands were not notarized. The buck tag is long gone, but the original VIN tag is still riveted to the driver's door...
