In 1969 it was the "1st Type or Design" used with a spacer
having 1 7/32 ID both ends.

Sooo...what color is the car...because the "E" does not code as white interior.
As Bob says a two letter code is lower and upper two-tone exterior paint codes.

along with the papers given to the original owner. After GM
