shocks 65 GS 400

I'm looking for help in finding the right shocks for my 65 Skylark GS, new radial tires cause wheel rub in dips and I need stiffer shocks, I think. Any suggestions? Gas, adjustable, brand? Not for lowering! Also any advise on street/strip racing slicks?

Heavier shocks may help, but not solve your problem. I assume it is the rear tires you are having problems with. First, find just where the interference it. Often you can just bend or cut a fender lip.

Id guess the wheels might have the wrong backspacing,get different ones before you hack on the poor car:thumbsup:
