also, the aluminum Land Rover v8s from 1966-2004 are the same basic design ( 215ci == 3.5L ), just in metric. so you can use things like Rover timing covers and water pumps. you'll just need to make sure that the Rover pump uses the same depth shaft as what you're replacing.
Buick part number is 1389457 for non A/C cars. Rebuilder Cardone uses number 58107.
Buick part number is 1388513 for A/C cars. Cardone number is 58108.
Www.napaonline.com shows both to be available. Www.rockauto.com and www.oreillyauto.com show the A/C unit available.
Hi All,
Thank you for your replies and information.
After all the email and phone calls to confirm the possibilities of the part in stock, no original parts or rebuilt were available for a 215cu.in. Or 3.5L engine without air cond..
In parallel, we had a friend’s friend that we contacted that is sending us two pumps on used motors to replace the one that is leaking badly.
Take care!

You can send one of those used pumps to Tony from "The Flying Dutchman" in Oregon. Look him up. He does a QUALITY job on rebuilding.
