Early Buick Bore Spacing
once Jyrki made his request, it occurred to me that there didn't seem to be a good repository or source for the old Buick engines. i mean, you can go to Carnut to get the raw bore x stroke dimensions, but there's a lot of other interesting info that they don't include.
so, i figured i'd start a thread where anybody who has any of these specs for the old engines can post them.
i've got the 320 pitch and some info for a Duesenberg. i'd love it if anybody would post the info for some of these other engines.

Thanks,
I have added the 263 to the reference: http://www.teambuick.com/reference/b...gine_specs.php
You can see some of the other specifications that would be nice to add near the bottom of the page.

Bore spacing
Another " I think I know , but not sure " item. Can you explain bore spacing??
Thanks
Ben

It is just the distance between the center of each bore.

Thanks, Bob. I thought that was the case, now I am sure.

263 Block hole locations
I've attached the 263 hole locations reference off the corner defined by the 3 locating bosses on the side of block and the front of the block.
Handy if anyone wants to make a torque plate.
