Anyone know a a source for a brake shoe retaining plate for a 62 SKYLARK
The front shoe guide plate is GM part no 5460398. It was used only on '61-62 Special and '61-62 Olds F-85. Thought it might show up in www.fusickautomotiveproducts.com Olds supply catalog but no luck there. Other than salvage yards, some might turn up on eBay etc by periodically searching the part number.
The rear is part no 5460399. This one was used on many GM smaller drum brake cars from '61 to 88 or even later. Plenty of reproduction examples show up on net searches.
