A previous owner of my 68 GS350 had old Skylark door panels installed instead of GS panels, as they have the skylark bird emblems on them. Did the 68-69 GS have the "GS" emblems on the door panels? I see Year One offers "GS" door panel emblems, but don't list 68-69 years for them. Would I be able to pull my panels and replace the bird emblems with "GS" emblems? How are they attached? (I am not experienced with panels)

David, yes 68 GS's are supposed to have GS emblems on the door panels and they are held on with posts on the back side of the emblem that protrude thru the door panel and have speed nut like retainers on them

Thanks for the help, Sean. Now the trick is to FIND the right emblems. Do you know what style/design the 68's had? I've been keeping an eye out for a good interior picture of 68/69 GS to see what they have, but haven't spotted anything yet.

Hmmm...I emailed Year One about 68 GS emblems, and they replied that usually only the bucket seat models had GS door emblems for 68. None on the bench seat models. I have bench with fold down arm rest in the middle(original,I don't know). I would sure like to put GS emblems on my doors, but sheeez, Year One wants about $40+ for a pair.
