you got a 350 or a 455?
Hi Bob, 455 here, Should be outta the paint shop next week. Wasn't an off the body restore, but she's looking pretty ok with rust cut out other work done and new paint. Currently assembling a reconditioned 455 to put back in. Will keep the original block though as want to keep it with the car.
nice.
did the engine builder notice any similarities to a Rover v8?
Welcome aboard
Are you a member of Buick Club WA?

Reconditioners here in WA didn't want my dollars..(Western Australia)= WA which means Wait Awhile so I got sick of waiting and sourced a recond block from over East. Just need to put my rockers, sump waterpump etc on...
Im after a left front parklight/indicator lens or complete unit for the 73 (it the around the corner type. Do you know where I might find one by chance?
Cheers
Jim
The part nos for the parking light items are:
5965861 - Lens, front park-turn & side marker lamp LH
912275 - Lamp, front park & turn & side marker LH
911885 - Older lamp no superseded by 912275 in 8/74
These items were used on '73 B & C body Buicks (LeSabre-Centurion-Estate Wagon-Electra).
No luck finding the lens via Internet searches tonight. Several lamp assemblies did turn up using the old and new numbers. Caution is needed as some assembly offerings are missing the lens. Good luck on the search.
