I've just got threw putting a bunch of work into my buick over the winter and it runs pretty strong now. Im wondering what anybody else with a simular combination runs in the 1/4?

Heres what I've got:
-'70 skylark custom w/ a stock rebuilt 285 hp 350 4bbl/TH 350 auto.
-Hooker super comp headers.
-Flowmaster 2.5" exhaust.
-3.55 posi rear out of a GTO.
-Lakewood No-hop bars.
-Ripped out the a/c compressor, hoses, bracket, and condensor.
-Dual snorkel air cleaner w/ a K+N filter.
-Mr.G adv. curve kit
-Gave it a tune up cap, wires, plugs, and points.
-My dad timed it and ajusted the carb.

If I put some 10.5" slicks Ive got on the car what will I run? What do think Ill run on my 9" radials? Any guesses? There are a few camaros Im looking to do battle with this summer!Im hoping for mid 14's, what do you think? Thanks.

Some 350 times here: http://www.buicks.net/forum/Forum14/HTML/000003.html . You have a better rear gear then the cars in that thread, and you have a weight advantage. I would guess that you would wind up somewhere in the low 15s or high 14s on slicks. Your radials may hook better then you think on the track. Try to baby it a little out of the hole, and think about an air bag in the right rear spring if it slips.

Thanks for the Link!
I think the slicks will be better although I've never tried them, with my radials my buick spins the tires for 40+ ft. when I stab it off the line, wich is better than before I had the posi and No-hop bars and only 2.73 gears it would spin the tire well in to third

Sorry I meant to say that i didnt havemy nohop bars or a posi yet, I only had a 2.73 one legger.
