Two Step Verification

I should be able to just turn of the verification options, which is how the site has been for a while now, but today I could not access the site.
I hope I have it turned off right now, I had myself locked out! If you have been locked out please tell me about it, because I may have to turn off what is stopping the verification from working properly.

I caught Amazon charging me without my permission for over a year. Kept gas-lighting me that I was scammed online when the bank statement showed Amazon LLC was charging me every month. It came out of the mouth of several Amazon reps. Only 1 person I talked to with integrity at Amazon when I caught this fraudulent activities. They refunded me for charges after painful days and hours on the phone where they frustrate and wait you out. I kept on throttle.
Now Amazon has multifactor authentication for "customers protection." Gas-lighting in preparation to steal from customers. I keep getting there baiting traps, upon calling customer service to complain, they deny its them, deja vu!!!
