Ticking lifter when cold

My 1968 Electra runs very well, smooth and powerful. When cold, I can here a lifter ticking on the drivers side. Should I add Wynns hydraulic lifter cleaner or som other stuff, or is this normal?

I change oil every year and I dont drive that much.

Will not hurt. May not help. Drive it more. Like a couple hundred with with a lunch break, then back.

Yeah your right, car has been driven too little the last 3 years

Drive it more, for sure…. a little Marvel Mystery Oil added often solves the tick within a few minutes, as well.

check for exhaust leak between manifolds and cylinder heads. they have a tendency to leak and make the same noise. could also be a rocker arm as well. i would go with all of the above suggestions' as well. i use 15w40 Rotella in all my vintage cars engines and seems to work well. good luck.

I would look seriously for small exhaust leak.
