His book has been long out of print but at one time (pre-Kirban) this was the only resource we had. Nice book and great story.
Not only was this the last GN but it was also the last G-Body built by that crew and in that plant. Don't recall which one it was that shut down but the signatures alone are probably the only place you can see everyone who worked on that line. Rear wheel drives were limited to the wagons for the most part after 1989.

Buick had so many orders for the last year '87GN's that production continued until mid/late in Dec. of '87.
