Straight 8 cylinder head identification

Hello All,

I have 2 extra straight 8 heads in my shed and I am trying to id them.

One has casting # 1318766-1 on it and it measures 31.5 inches long. I believe this is a 263 head . . .

The other one has casting number 13408273 on it. I don’t have the length on this one and I’m not sure what it is for . . . This one is fully rebuilt and ready to go, but don’t know what it goes too.


Any help on the identification of these heads would be great!

would suggest that your 1340827 head (disregard the number after the dash) could be a 1951, but you will still need to measure it to find out if it is for a 263 or 320.

I am not finding anything on the other number.
