Seat belts

I had lap belts in my car but after my wreck I decided to install 3 point belts in the front. My Buick is a 1952 four door station wagon. Has anyone had experience and can recommend a good supplier?

I haven't ever retro fitted a car, and would have just salvaged a set from a car with a set I liked. I do know that the seat belt material can be had at some upholstery shops and sewn to length.

Found this from another forum a while back. I plan on buying these for my 51 special when i get it running as the hardware is more correct for mounting a 3 point compared to other suppliers and they are cheaper since the hardware is included and not separate like others I've seen.

Save the installer a headache and get the installation instructions before you buy any of these fit-all universal kits. Alternately, inspect your vehicle to the location the seatbelt will bolt on and check for obstacles and or limitations. Thin sheetmetal for example, or the need for a particular bracket or nut with a metal support. In the Push Button Retractable Shoulder Belt kit that was attached you can see two L shaped brackets. I can't visualize how those would be used. I do know that on some vehicles belts have been bolted in perpendicular to the shoulder vs other vehicles it is high above. The perpendicular install gets in the way if the passenger is getting in on a two door, but you have a wagon. I'd consider install front and rear belts. On some earlier vehicles there are factory impressions that were placed in the sheet metal for lap seat belt installation. The service manual will show where they are located.
