Howdy Buick Guys,

I things go as planned I will have a 1964 Riviera in my garage.
Where do you purchase your parts for restoration?

Can walnut door inserts be purchased?
Need a part or assembly to fix the glove box door, too.
May need a wiper motor, also.

Probably much much more.

I buy most of my parts from ebay and even off this site.
I have a 63 Riv.
Most parts are interchangeable from the 63 and the 64.
Whats the motor size? 425 or the super wildcat with the dual carbs?
 
Just FYI I have 4/'64 Rivs. & 1/'65 Riv. GS as parts cars. Engines are in all of them & run & can be driven. Whatever it is you may need I just may have.

I can't believe it happened.... We had a Deal...He called me Tuesday nite and said he wanted $400 more!! We talked sunday (6/15/08)...and I said I would have the money Monday and would stop by if needed and make down payment ...then pickup the car today, Thursday (6/19/09)...... He changed his mind and thinks he has more time [labor of love, cough/gag/throwup] in the car and needs $400 more dollars to sell it to me. Now, the price is $6800.... I said No.
 
That's a shame Ryan, but you did the right thing, a deal is a deal, and he has proven he is not a man of his word.
It may not sit right with you now, but there are plenty other Rivieras for sale out there. Don't get discouraged - keep looking ! :thumbsup:
