Quijote

 When cruising full damp in the night, -say 60 mph-, my Sedanette begins to wave the beams on the road, coinciding curiously with sudden oscilation in the ammeter needle. :(
If generator goes fine, I know I've to go to the disyuntor. If you have this little darn box in front of you, what set of points shoulda tell me something? I say, Bernard, like if you have the box with no cover, fixed onto the firewall.
Any 6-volts withc up there? Any help will be grateful appreciated.

Quijote, I don't have a clue. I only know when my car doesn't start, to rap it smartly with a hard object. . . . Good luck.

But don't overlook the possibility of a short in one of the hot wires to your headlights, which would get continuity to the body or frame only when both damp and bouncing a little as the car moved down the road. That also could cause your symptoms.
