Info about my engine

Hi to everyone
can anyone tell me what type of engine I have.
I have a 1963 Buick skylark 2dr coupe I think it is a 215 v8 aluminum
I found on the front right of engine block the # 3j1522801

63's came with either a V6 or V8 (215 V8). What makes you think the car has an engine swap? In the meantime I'll look up engine codes and report my findings.

Buick Engine Numbers (stamped onto top surface of engine block, ahead of the passenger-side cylinder head)

Engine Number Format: A-B-C-DDDDDDD

Where:
"A" was the model code (0="Special", 1="Special Deluxe", 2="Skylark")
"B" was the model-year code (H="1961", I="1962", J="1963")
"C" was a single-digit plant code
"DDDDDDDD" was the production sequence number

Supplemental Engine Code Format: EE-FFF (stamped upside-down in the same location)

Where:
"EE" designated performance specification
(I="1962 / standard compression ratio /two barrel carburetor",
HI="1962 / high compression ratio / four barrel carburetor",
JM="1963 / low compression ratio / two barrel carburetor",
JN="1963 / high compression ratio / four barrel carburetor")
"FFF" is numerical (meaning unknown).

Here is some more to really confuse the matter
