Hyd vs solid lifters

I’m building a 263 engine from a 1952 Special with the Dynaflow. It has hydraulic lifters. Can I change to solid lifters with just pushrods and lifters? What about the cam? If it is different can a cam regrinder change to solid lifter grind? Thanks!

hyd versus manual

When you say "building" ,what is planned. I have done that . Upped compression, bored out, head work. If advice is wanted, ask. If not, I will be following.

The answer to the cam question is yes. I think.

I’m hot rodding the motor. Not real wild. Bored .060 over. Shaved head .050. I built my own manifolds. It will run either 450 or 600 Holley and turbocharger with mild boost. I’m not looking for a big power boost just trying something one off. 700R4 transmission to replace the Dynaflow.
