Hub grease/dust cap - threaded

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what size hub grease caps were used for what years and if Standard or Master? I know there is a 3 1/16" and (I believe) 3 3/16" thread diameter and I think there is another size as well? I'm mainly interested in the 1900s through to 1930. I have a nice early hub that has a 3 1/16 thread diameter that I have modified for a Buick Speedster fuel filler neck (currently getting Nickel plated) and I'm wanting an equally nice brass 'Buick embossed' grease cap that I can use as a filler cap. Problem is, quite often any that are for sale are listed as year models and don't give thread diameter, especially if from an auction house.
Thanks in advance for your reply
Mick
