Help! 1953 Buick Super *New

BentzJ

Newbie
So I am new to the Buick scene. I purchased a 1953 Buick Super and am beginning to go through it.
We won’t even talk about how long it took me to get the hood open. I have decided I hate that spring bolt assembly!

Anyway, I have hit a wall. I need help figuring out exactly what I have.

Title says 1953 Buick Vin: V2051785 (Engine #?)
Door Tag 47096427
ID Tag
1953 Mod 52
Style # 53-4518
Body # BK 10197
Trim # 51
Paint # 51

Engine Number 1848840-8
(Found on front left side between the manifold)

I think I’m screwed on my title because I think the engine may have been swapped at some point as I cannot find the V# anywhere. But I also can’t identify the engine now. If anyone can decode this mess as I can’t make head or tales out of it all I would be extremely grateful!

Thank You So Much! I Will start looking again tomorrow for the Engine number! All the info is fantastic!

I attached a picture of her as she was before I moved her into the workspace!

Going through everything as she was a “Garage Find” where she had been sitting for about 7 years.
