I remember when punching the throttle in my 66 Skylark GS from a roll of 25 to 30 mph the sound it made when all 4 barrells opened and it down shifted and went into high stall all at the same time.!

Yes, from 1964-1967. Only the 1964 was not switch pitch. Then TH 400 from 1968 and on.

Hoping to learn as much as I can from this forum, and its members. I have owned a 63' riv for a little over a year, and did not anything about the car, bow it worked, and how to tune or repair it, I had some bad luck encounter with a so called Riviera/Nailhead guru. who took advantage of me for several thousand dollars, my car hasnt been the same since. soo..
