Gas tank issues

Hi everyone, I need to replace my gas tank on my 67 Skylark coupe and the only tank I could find only comes' with one vent and no filler tube. There are a lot on the market. I understand I need to use the old filler tube, but my issue is the venting of the tank. The old one has two vents', one large and one small. The larger one is a short tube into the tank, and the smaller one goes' to a long tube that runs' the length of the tank corner to corner. How should I vent the new one? Can I use just the one vent and maybe put a vented gas cap on? The old cap is non-vented. I am wondering if anyone else has run into this and/or done this before. Thanks' in advance for any help..Paul
