Hello everybody,

does anybody know what's the function of the part shown on the pictures? Has something to do with the revese band.

Thanks in advance!

It appears the reverse strut has fallen out which is needed to operate the rear band. This normally happens when the bands are not adjusted as per maintenece guide lines.

Hello,

thank you very much. Perhaps I have expressed myself incorrectly. Nothing has fallen out and everything was in its position. A friend has dismantled the gearbox and wonders what the function of the part marked in red is. There are two plates that operate the band plus this red marked part.

Excuse my english.

The piece in the pictures is the Reverse Brake Band Anchor. It keeps the stationary (thick) end of the reverse band in position. The hook on the anchor fits onto the band.

Thank you very much, both!

You are ride, seems to be the anchor. Must have been defect because there was a Repair Bracket installed.

Regards
