so I'm on my 3rd year with my 46 Buick runner driver I just want to see some other builds... don't see much of these on the road, at local meets, or big car shows so yes I'm being nosey where are all the straight eight Buicks at!
Hello there, I have a 48 Chevy 3/4 ton truck that I installed a 53 Buick 263.so I'm on my 3rd year with my 46 Buick runner driver I just want to see some other builds... don't see much of these on the road, at local meets, or big car shows so yes I'm being nosey where are all the straight eight Buicks at!
I have a thread and it’s “buick Straight 8” and the truck is on the road. The tranny is a Muncie 420 4 speed. Torque tube is in place along with the Eaton HO52 4.57. I Want to swap gears to 4.10 or 3.90. I just rebuilt the Carter carburetor. New Aluminum radiator with electric fan on a relay(adjustable) along with an over ride toggle switch just in case. I ran all new electrical wiring to handle the new 12 volt system. I need to take new pictures and share them with all you guys if you’re interested. The pictures I posted are the old ones from when I dry fitted the engine. Thanks for reading this, enjoy.Fantastic! Is it on the road? What Tranny and rear end?
Perhaps you can start a thread for this. Hopefully it will be allowed. If not I would like to stay in touch.
Ben

The #1 piston on the 235 would not move. It was missing a lot of its components and I bought the 263 before I came across the truck. So when I saw the truck, it all made sense.that is a sweet truck how does it compare with the 235 thats was there... do you know?
crazy to see i8 engines getting swapped
