Good morning, I have a 1964 skylark convertible. Although the wipers work on BOTH high and low speeds, they will not stop. I have replaced the switch already.
I have a attached a picture of the wiper motor. It has three terminals and a ground strap. I suspect that the parking mechanism of the motor is toast, but I would like to verify that before spending almost $100 on a new one... btw, this car never had windshield washers, so there is no washer pump at all.
Does anyone know what combination of power and ground connections should cause the motor to "park" the wipers?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
