Anyone else driving their old girls yet

Hello. Living in Canada we have to wait for the snow to leave before bringing out our old girls. Here in Lethbridge, I have been driving my Wildcat all Feb now. Here, the Groundhog was right. Winter left and my car came out. I am getting a lot of looks, questions, thumbs up, and even some offers to purchase. Not for sale, but it is flattering. Tells me I am on the right path with her. In the last few days, I have noticed a few old Mustangs and other old cars on the road so, I am not alone.

Now, how about you out there? Are you driving yet, and what are you driving. Let's show our pride.Wildcat.jpg

I live in Phoenix, AZ so I can drive my '62 Electra 225 every day. I'm not bragging, I've lived here for 46 years and winter weather, 70's and 80's and sunny, is what we put up with summer weather for, 110 and BLAZING sun.
My car is a black fourdoor hardtop. Gets lots of stares and honks. I'm almost old enough to have bought it new so I look like I belong in it.
Happy motoring!

'62, the year I was born. I would say I was old enough, but a baby behind the wheel would be, shall we say, scary. I hope your old girl has air conditioning for those summer days. Our summer days are in the mid 30's C (86 - 95 F). I don't have AC, but I can live with that since I usually only drive in the city and you can anywhere in Lethbridge in 10 minutes. Have a good day with your car.

Installed a new engine. Just getting around to starting it for the first time today. Hope to have it on the road in three months.

I can relate. I got my Wildcat last May but only drove it once last year. It would stall every time you came to a stop. Good luck with your engine.
