1955 Roadmaster starter

I just bought a 1955 Roadmaster. Lights and accessories work fine but the starter will not spin when the accelerator is depressed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve the problem? What do I look for?

WELCOME ABOARD!

WE know that you have juice.

You will have to Trouble Shoot using a test light or a meter from the battery, relay solenoid and starter.

That is the only way I know of to find what is causing your problem.
