1950 super steering gear oil

any suggestions on type of oil to use to replace Saginaw all season gear lubricant for steering gear box? thanks for your time!

90 weight gear oil is common, but easily replaced with 140. A common choice is regular chassis grease, and it doesn't drip out through a leaky seal. I expect the "all season" gear lubricant has a variable viscosity so that it does stiffen right up in extreme cold, not much of a problem with classic cars as they are unlikely to be driven in that type of weather conditions.
