Ok...........looking into installing a tri-power in the 1955 Buick Special and while investigating found out that the Demons have the same bolt pattern as the old Strombergs so now I am having some mixed feelings........... does anyone have an opinion.....................?

Good Luck I ran a momentary switch under the dash board, because I was not able to locate this switch for my 264 nailhead in my 55 Special. Good luck locating the switch Bob Bates

What do you mean about changing to an alternator and the light on the dashboard? My 1955 Special had an alternator when I purchased it, from the 2nd owner, and I could find nothing like you discuss......... The wires were all connected on the back of the alternator and I will try to get you...

Be sure to use a momentary switch when you do this not a positive on/off switch!!! I have done this, last spring, and have had no problems with it since installation What do you mean what do you have to change for the alternator light?:confused: :hurray: :bana: :waving: Bob
