Question for you guys. Was there a factory option for dual carbs and exhausts on the 41-42 Buick? I have seen dual exhausts but this old guy started tellin me all Buick ever had was dual carbs from the factory, never a dual exhaust on the straight 8 Am I crazy or is he?

A few questions as the 52 shop manual is cryptic. Trying to get my 263 dialed in in the 1953 Special. I have a 12 volt tach/dwell The car is still a 6 volt car. Will I get an accurate reading? Then I am looking for ideal timing, idle rpms, dwell, point gap etc. I live at about 6500 feet above...
