Hello,
I have a '64 skylark with a 2 barrel carb. I am purchasing a 4 barrel intake (from another 64). I am trying to research fuel injection setups for it. The two leading contenders seem to be FiTech and Holley. Has anyone tried that? Were you successful?? What pitfalls should I watch out...
You are correct about the mechanism for the clock. The company that rebuilt it recommends disconnecting power to prolong the life of the movement, so that's what I will do.. Thanks
I have a 1964 skylark with a 300 engine. The heads are in bad shape, I am trying to find a set of correct ones in good shape. Want to avoid cast iron if possible.
Thanks

Hello. I am about to install an original (repaired) factory clock into my '64 skylark. I did not 'upgrade' to a quartz movement :) .. Here's my question.. Normally when I am not going to drive the car for days/weeks/months, I disconnect the negative side of the battery and hook up a battery...
Hi. I just purchased a new top boot with clips for my 64 skylark. I need to pop-rivet the clip to the boot, but the instructions don't specify what size rivet to use. The diameter I can figure out from the hole size pretty easily, but I am not sure how long they need to be. Has anyone done...
Thanks.. Fortunately, I just found one here in Mass that I can pick up in good shape.. I appreciate the info! Always amazes me how helpful people are with stuff like this! Have a great weekend.
I know, but none with the 2.78 ratio that I am looking for.. It only has a 2 speed automatic transmission.. Don't want to have to rev that hard on the highway
I have been told that the ring and pinion in my rear end is badly pitted and should be replaced... Anyone know of where a set can be obtained? Don't want to change the gear ratio if possible.
