    Thanks Todd, found it under flaking paint above oil pressure sender unit RHS. quite small numbers, reads 29P though so table indicated it as Pontiac.

    I do have a shop manual, the setting shown is for crossply tyres or course. Just remember my other 50 was just as bad ..it had crossply tyres. I will check camber as I have a camber tool.

    I will measure the pitman arms, maybe the st. Box ratio is different? Either way the factory should have got it better.

    I wish I could find someone who knows how to set up old cars alignment. He gave me no figures on it but as you know you can't vary the camber much with that pin.

    Modern wheels on a 57’ Buick

    I replaced all my bolts with studs on my 50 ready for newer wheels. you just need to get the right press in fit size for the threaded holes. Make sure they pull in all the way as the rear brake shoe spreader bar was just clipping mine and needed grinding.... but you will know this when you spin...

    1950 brake booster...remote

    Just about to start on this job. Adding a VH44 5/8" bore 820 psi out remote booster. Any help appreciated on the point of manifold vacuum etc, ....boosting the fronts only of course. Anybody done this to comment on the results. the pads are so narrow on these cars ! here we are 3 months gone...
