Nice clean looking car! I had one of these, although not a GS, it was a 455 conversion. Had alot of fun with it!

64_conv, thanks for the compliment! This one will have a 455 eventually too. I wouldn't, except that the original drive train is all gone anyway, though it does have a 350 sbb still.

Awesome! I have a '68 skylark and I have grown to like that body style more than any other. I have owned an example of every year except for 1970. (Though one of my buddies once owned a '70) The '68 definitely is the best looking one in my honest opinion. Of course, it could also be that the only skylark I've ever owned that is in good shape is my '68, also.
Here's my list (all are 2dr hardtops unless otherwise stated)
1 1968 (currently owned)
1 1969 (bought and sold in California, my duty station when not deployed)
1 1969 Sportwagon that I tried to fix but couldn't afford to (sold to get my '68)
1 1971 (bought wrecked, put back together, drove awhile then sold)
1 1972 (my first buick, long since junked, but lives on in other buicks)
1 1972 4-door that rusted away. (was fun while it lasted, that was my sleeper, BBB, TH400, discs, posi, and factory AC that worked!)
