A Mans Car, big and powerful. Even the color projects power, however, if
you had of shot the picture a little closer to the ground you could have
cut out many of the distractions in the backround.

A very nice color that complements the car's long coke-bottle styling. Once i had my '63 painted that charcoal-colored paint. Then it faded, looking like primer. the '66-'70 Riviera models are somewhat overlooked; some consider them more beautiful than the '63-'65's. For me, a riviera-freak, I can't decide. I have a '63, '73 and '76; so a '66-'70 model would be a nice additon.

Thanks for the observation and comments Chris. Sometimes yah gotta work with what yah got.
I did shoot the pic while on the ground to eliminate some background clutter - guess I coulda framed it a little more carefully. (Notice the flag pole thru the roof, and the shadows from power lines, crossing the car.) Without Photoshop, or ideal conditions, you takes what yah can gets, and live with it, till a better opportunity comes along !

Thanks for your comments Steve. The colour is is an '86 GM, Medium Grey Metallic, but the '69 Riviera offered almost the identical cool Grey, and that paint (base/clear) is almost 20+ years old! The car is always garaged and only sees warm summer days. Over the years I have grown to like all the Rivieras, but my preference is the 2nd generation models, since I own one !
